Easter Plus offers students the perfect opportunity to spend their Easter break in the United Kingdom, immersing themselves in the British culture and English language. Offering a similar course structure to our flagship English Plus course, this programme combines 22.5 hours of English classes per weeek with Multi-Activities and two full-day excursions at the weekend. Students will enjoy an international community that Bede's Dicker, home of Bede's Senior School, offers in the heart of the Sussex countryside. The superb academic, sporting and leisure facilities on campus ensure this course will offer an unforgettable learning experience.
The Programme
English Skills lessons are designed to improve students’ general language skills, extend their vocabulary and better their understanding of grammar, to improve accuracy and confidence when producing spoken and written English.

During Enrichment sessions, students will further enrich their language skills by deepening their cultural understanding of the places they visit during excursions, using real-world materials such as leaflets, word searches, adverts and articles to develop their productive and receptive English skills pre and post excursions.

Throughout the course of the week, students do research around a weekly theme or topic of interest which they then present in an agreed way, such as a presentation, performance, song, product pitch or an art exhibition of their work. The aim of Research Project lessons is to develop students team and collaboration skills as well as improve their speaking and interpersonal skills.
There is a fun, competitive element to Research Projects and every student in the winning class, judged by the Academic Manager or Centre Director, is recognised for their contribution and given a small prize.

This provides the opportunity to carry on learning outside the classroom in small, supervised groups at the same time as having some fun. Sometimes, students will be able to choose their preferred sport or activity.

A full programme of organised and supervised social events is offered every evening to encourage students to make new friends and develop their social skills. By actively encouraging the mixing of nationalities, we are helping to create a harmonious international community in which students can live, study in a safe and comfortable environment and enjoy themselves.

Excursions are a mandatory part of the programme. We offer students the opportunity to visit places of cultural and historical interest, as well as the chance for sightseeing, shopping and amusement. There are two full-day excursions at the weekend.
Saturdays
Saturday excursions are a full day trip and include a cultural, touristic or recreational visit to London or another place of interest such as British Museum, Buckingham Palace, London Dungeon, London Eye, London Zoo, Madame Tussauds, National Gallery, Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Thorpe Park, Tower of London, Westminster Abbey.
Sundays
Sunday excursions are often more relaxing trips to a local seaside town, such as Brighton, Chichester, Eastbourne, Hastings or Worthing, where students can stroll along the beach, have lunch in the park or do some shopping. Sometimes students will partake in off-site activities.
Our Academies Programme offers expert instruction to students looking to develop their skills, technique and confidence in certain sports.

Further Information
The Academies Programme is suitable for all abilities from beginner to advanced level.
Instruction is given by qualified Bede's or external sports' coaches.
Students can choose 1 Academy option per week.
Academies take place instead of the regular afternoon Sports & Activities.
Dates & Fees
The centre is open for 3 weeks in total, from 22 March to 11 April 2026. Students can arrive on any Sunday and depart on any Saturday.
The recommended minimum stay is two weeks. To maximize the benefit of your experience, you should consider a 3 week course.
The fully-inclusive course fee is £1,350 per week for a residential course. This includes a return transfer from selected airports (see Terms & Conditions) and travel insurance. Day course is also available for £795 per week.
The Course
Age range 12 to 17 yrs. Maximum 70 students per week from different countries. Limits for each nationality to ensure a good mix.
Lessons take place in the mornings and afternoons and there is a full programme of afternoon Sports & Activities, evening Social Events and weekend Excursions tailored to students' age and interests. All recreational activities organised by Bede's are mandatory are included in the course fee.
There are 22.5 hours of lessons per week including English Skills, Enrichment and Research Project. Maximum 14 students per class. Weekly progress checks to monitor students' performance.
5 levels are available from A2 (Pre-Intermediate) to C2 (Proficiency). Placement test on Monday with a multiple choice, writing and speaking components. Complete Beginners and Beginners are not accepted.
Horse Riding and Tennis. Supplements are payable. Academies are subject to availability and a minimum number of enrolments.
Easter Plus is available as a day course and runs from 08.30 to 17.00 Monday to Friday. Students may add evening activities and the Saturday and Sunday excursions if they wish (supplements payable).
The centre

Bede’s staff provide excellent care for students 24 hours a day and live in the same residential areas as the students. Dedicated House Parents look after the students in each boarding house. Excellent staff:student ratios (typically 1:5). Individual attention provided. There is a surgery led by a qualified nurse a couple of times a week and students have access to a doctor if required.

For residential students, all meals are included in the weekly package price and students can expect a healthy and wholesome breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, served in the Dining Hall. A morning and evening snack is also offered (fruit, cake, mini sandwich, juice, milk). Day students enjoy a morning snack and lunch on campus. Meals are a mix of English and international dishes and vegetarian option is always available. Special dietary requirements are accommodated.

Wi-fi is available in most communal and accommodation areas. Students can make and receive telephone calls. The Village Shop is available at designated times for refreshments and snacks. Laundry is done for students at least once a week. 24 hour emergency contact service for Parents.

Transfers from/to Heathrow, Gatwick and London City Airports and St Pancras International Train Station are included in the fees between 09.00 and 18.00 (10.00-17.00 for St Pancras). Students are met by Bede's Staff and Bede's Airport Coordinators provide extra care.
